Our organization, SINCHAN, was formed in 2004, by six like-minded individuals, who got together to assist in the higher education of meritorious but needy students. SINCHAN is now a full grown organization with more than 100 members. An effort, which was initiated with just three students to pursue graduation, now counts more than 574 students in all the fields like Medical, Engineering, Arts, Science and Commerce. Currently 192 students are pursuing their higher studies under the canopy of our SINCHAN SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME

Our endeavour is prized with 365 successful graduates; among them are 25 Doctors, 24 Engineers, 38 in Teaching profession, 12 PHD holders and 1 WBCS officer. It encourages us to see many of the deserving candidates, whom we supported, are employed and self-reliant. Our organization’s circle of benevolence completes when 20 of those, who were once receiver of SINCHAN Scholarships, are now members.

SINCHAN’S endeavour is to encourage, guide and bring these underprivileged young people into the folds of higher education and a path of self-reliance, in turn accelerate inclusive growth for a more profound and sustainable social development. In this path we are successful in accumulating active and passive support of many noted intellectuals, literacy and higher education councillors and specialists, literary and creative artists, who stand by SINCHAN. Our organization’s radar is not limited to the vicinity but also covers the interior and rural part of West Bengal. Our organization thrives as more and more of our scholars join us to carry on the flag.
